We assist the citizens of Comal County to acquire and maintain good health through control of communicable diseases and promotion of healthy lifestyle choices.

As a part of the Office of Public Health, the department of Emergency Preparedness is in need of volunteers to assist the community in the event of a public health emergency such as a disease pandemic or the accidental or intentional release of a toxic agent.
