The Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority is committed to building stronger neighborhoods by providing quality housing options and professional services for eligible residents of Summit County in partnership with the greater community.

AMHA provides housing to low-income households in Summit County. Ohio - and so much more! Our Resident Support Services programs are designed to improve the quality of life of current residents, maintain their tenure in housing during difficult periods, and move those who are able into self-sufficiency through training, education, jobs and developing life skills. Our programs and activities are very interactive with the commuinity at large.
