At the Milwaukee Public Library, inspiration starts here - we help people read, learn, and connect.

With 13 branch locations throughout Milwaukee, we serve a population of over 595,000 individuals. We house a collection of over 2.5 million items in print, digital, and media. Each year we welcome over 2 million visitors and offer over 6,000 free programs for children, teens, and adults throughout our community.
