Swift sports organisation was birthed after Swift superladies netball club which also started with 4 single mothers in Kiteezi,Wakiso district,Uganda East Africa.

This big dream came by a sports coach. He was a footballer at junior school level and didn't go heights as in sports carrier as a footballer.

It happened one day as he was working at some orphanage school a thought came" Iam 35 years,can't play as before" made a decision to remain as coach to manifest his self unto the young talents and those still hoping to achieve through sports no matter what age.

Since then he decided to start academy to empower sports talents ( football and netball etc)

In 2017 he resigned from the work to relocate to new place ,new district. Reaching the new community children were at school,he was not working at school any more to access them. Thought went to single mothers at home ,reaching few they bought the idea and everything started that way .

We got a school play ground which was offered to us free for 2 days a week, only evenings on a condition to train their pupils.

2018 the evening gatherings empowered with passion,most women wanted to fitness due to size and tummy challenges..

The entired community caught fire of netball,and fitness evenings. Eventually numbers increased that is women,young men,teens and children.

In 2019 we were working hard,serious trainings ,we registered to participate in two seasonal tournament which we won both. We got two trophies,some cash and two goats.

The camp was boasted to highest level of new commers,new friends local and international.

As we were excited of everything 2020 came,not knowing it was welcoming a year of death,tears,hunger,stress and loneliness,a big fist encamped us ( covid 19,lock down) we lost members by death others relocating to deeper village to survive on cheap food,daily necessities.

After COVID-19 pandemic,2021 August we resumed with some simple trainings at that moment we were very few, like 11 to 15 from hundreds before pandemic.

2022 we mobilized community since people were under stress,shock of loosing loved ones the solution was fun joints,and people pick interest again.

We thought many things that we shouldn't look unto sports trainings only.The future of our children after sports gatherings and trainings.

Members agreed to form community based organization with a vision and mission to community that is fighting poverty through a sports talent ( discovering,developing and promoting a sports talent) and also to think of developmental programs to sustain sports activities even other areas where we need support like education ,health,skillings to disadvantaged mothers,teens school dropouts and orphans kids.

Since then we are now Swift sports organisation ( swift superladies netball club,swift kids club,swift Teens club,and Swift mixed club) focusing to establishing a practical skilling centre; swift recreation centre to empower illiterate single mothers to atleast achieve practical knowledge for a future.

Today I am soon making 51 years of age with lots of responsibilities as a single dad and community leader.

However much we run the CBO as a team (executive committee) still the vision burden remains to the vision bearer forever!

And therefore this is a message from the heart of Founder leader of all the mentioned.

As a person need backup support, this means looking for a man or a woman ready to take on swift sports organisation as his or her own to become another hand to run everything together focusing to establish this great cause.

I don't know the right title for him or her but responsibility. A person to act responsibly as a godmother or god father.

Someone who can sacrifice his or her life in different areas as resources ( time, finances,networking, knowledge etc)

Am Calling upon you heroe, ambassador, generational leader and parent patron to empower and support this great cause to be established.

We are eagerly waiting on you.
