Nacel Open Door (NOD) is a nonprofit organization that has been connecting international students and American communities for over 65 years. We’re seeking engaged, community-focused people to join us as Local Representatives and connect high school exchange students with welcoming host families and schools in your area.

This flexible independent contractor role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, has a passion for cultural exchange, and is looking for meaningful work with real earning potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Recruit volunteer host families in your community
• Match students with host families and nearby schools based on shared interests and fit
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and your wider community
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to your students and host families throughout the school year
• Work flexible hours from your own home with support from the NOD National Office and Coordinator Mentor.

This is a mission-first, flexible 1099 Independent Contractor role. Local Representatives set their own schedules and earn stipend-based compensation for every student they place and support. This is not a salaried position.
