Work to Save the Bees in Our Canvassing and Field Manager Positions
Almost a quarter of bumblebee species are at risk of going extinct, and pesticides called neonics are a big reason why. Neonics disrupt bees’ nervous system, impair their ability to forage and ultimately can lead to colony collapse.
Environment Oregon is working to save the bees by restricting these bee-killing pesticides. We are hiring canvassers and field managers in our Eugene office to educate the public about the issue, raise critical funds, and generate the visibility necessary to influence decision-makers.

Canvassing staff earn a base pay of $16.00 per hour, plus can earn 20% of what they raise over our minimum fundraising standard, giving staff the opportunity to earn more than $20 per hour. Staff never earn less than minimum wage for the hours that they work. Depending on performance and location, canvassers earn an average of between $16 to $22 per hour.
