    We are seeking a dynamic, Membership & Community Partnerships Coordinator at our Adult Clubhouse on Manhattan’s Lower East Side/Chinatown neighborhood – Elements House-LES, a member of Clubhouse International. Reporting to the Clubhouse Director, the Membership & Community Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for growing Clubhouse membership, developing community and referral partnerships, expanding Transitional Employment opportunities, and supporting member engagement and retention.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage members through relationship-building, social practice, and a shared Work-Ordered Day.
    • Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase Clubhouse membership and referral pipelines.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with hospitals, behavioral health providers, housing providers, community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and other referral sources.
    • Conduct community outreach, presentations, tours, and other activities to generate prospective member referrals and increase awareness of Elements House.
    • Identify and cultivate businesses and employers to expand Transitional Employment (TE) opportunities.
    • Work collaboratively with the Employment Unit to develop and sustain TE, Supported, and Independent Employment partnerships.
    • Coordinate outreach to inactive and under-engaged members and identify barriers to participation and strategies for reconnection.
    • Support the orientation and integration of new members into the Clubhouse community.
    • Collaborate with the Assistant Director and Clubhouse team on membership, engagement, retention, and ADA strategies.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting related to membership growth, referrals, partnerships, outreach, retention, and employment development.
    • Participate in Clubhouse International training, staff meetings, quality improvement activities, and other professional development as required.
    • Ensure compliance with Clubhouse International Standards, NYDIS policies, DOHMH requirements, and applicable confidentiality requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications include:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
    • 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, community outreach, or related services.
    • Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience developing community, referral, employer, or institutional partnerships.
    • Familiarity with the Clubhouse model and Transitional Employment preferred.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with members and staff.
    • Bilingual candidates strongly preferred, particularly Chinese dialects and/or Spanish.
    • Strong written communication skills and comfort with digital platforms and electronic records.

    Salary range, $70,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience - with excellent benefits.
