As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you will work in close partnership with the Education Department, and all Departments across the organization so we have the right people in the right roles to deliver on our 10-year promise to scholars. Day to day, you will:

• Conduct and lead structured interviews, ensuring alignment with role competencies and organizational goals.
• Manage multiple concurrent searches effectively, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrate a proactive and innovative mindset by identifying opportunities for improvement in the hiring process and implementing effective solutions.
• Develop strategic interview frameworks to assess candidate fit.

• Have experience managing multiple searches simultaneously with strong project management skills
• Have strong, professional interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Greenhouse or a similar applicant tracking system

• You are an experienced full-cycle recruiter with 4–7 years of experience and a proven track record of hiring qualified, diverse candidates across multiple functions.
• You thrive in complexity, juggling multiple roles, stakeholders, and timelines while keeping the candidate experience front and center.
• You design with intention, working backwards from outcomes to build efficient, equitable hiring processes that scale.
• You’re a systems thinker who enjoys building workflows, refining processes, and bringing structure to fast-moving environments.
• You confidently manage up to hold hiring managers accountable.
• You know how to teach others, with experience training hiring managers and interviewers on best practices.
• You are excited to work Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM with a Tuesday-Thursday in-office requirement.

Compensation: This position is Full-Time, Exempt. The full compensation range for the Talent Acquisition Manager in Oakland, CA is $88,000-$110,000/year with the exact compensation depending on experience. As someone new to this role at College Track, you can expect an offer between $93,500-$98,999/year to ensure internal equity while leaving room for compensation growth during your time with us.
