GENERAL SUMMARY
The Pregnancy Center Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Grace House Pregnancy Center including education programs, boutique, staff/volunteer management, and client services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administration
- Familiar with policy and procedure of the ministry and uses it in daily direction of the center.
- Interacts with CSD to relate client or staff needs, progress of the center, problems, goal-setting and implementation.
- Oversees class members data entry, client information, and its storage and security.
- Recruit volunteers for the center’s education program and conduct written/oral evaluation of volunteer staff annually.
Boutique
- Ensures effective management of the boutique.
- Maintain policies and procedures that use the boutique to promote and prioritize education ser-vices.
- Assists other staff members with incoming material donations and obtaining donor information when necessary.
- Maintains thank you correspondence and data entry for material donations.
- Oversees management of material donation storage.
Public Relations
- Participates in fundraising events, as requested.
- Participates in meetings with other organizations related to the needs of clients, as requested.
- Actively seeks relationships with local non-profit leaders to implement partnerships that benefit clients.
Client Services
- Oversees education program provided for clients, ensuring qualified instructors and leaders are acquired.
- Meets with new and potential clients to onboard them into the center’s programs.
- Sets a tone of compassion, acceptance, and availability, meeting the needs of clients and ensuring quality service.
- Engages clients with follow-up contact between visits and one-on-one lay counseling as needed to maintain ongoing support.
- Assists clients with emergency material support.
Training
- Assists in formulating and teaching volunteer in-service meetings.
- Assesses client needs and makes referrals to outside agencies or churches.
- Provides spiritual support to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.
- Have at least 6 months of experience as a volunteer in some ministry capacity (the ED has the discernment to hire without experience in the ministry).
- Exhibit skill in interpersonal communication, and problem solving.
- Be able to provide spiritual leadership to support staff.
- Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires reaching, bending and stretching. It requires sitting and typing on a keypad for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 25 pounds for a limited period of time. The majority of work involved in this position takes place indoors while there are moments of physical exertion related to the set-up and tear-down of special events.

- Must view themselves as a representative of Grace House Ministries in areas of fundraising and demonstrate a willingness to participate in all fundraising activities as requested.
