Trainer, Integrated Safety Planning

**We're building a training pool rather than filling a single role — ongoing, as-needed trainer capacity.**

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s programs and services. The Training Director works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate programs that advance the organization’s mission and address the needs of the communities served.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Planning:

• Lead the strategic planning process for programs and services, in alignment with the organization’s mission, goals, and strategic

priorities.

• Identify emerging needs and trends in the community and develop responsive programmatic initiatives.

Program Development and Implementation:

• Develop and implement programmatic initiatives, activities, and interventions to address the needs of the target population.
• Collaborate with staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to design and deliver effective programs that achieve desired outcomes and impact.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Establish programmatic goals, objectives, and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
• Collect, analyze, and report program data and outcomes to

stakeholders, funders, and the board of directors.

Partnership Development and Collaboration:

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, funders, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and enhance program impact.
• Collaborate with partners to develop and implement joint initiatives, collaborations, and partnerships that advance shared goals.

Staff Supervision and Development:

• Supervise program staff, interns, and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Resource Development and Grant Management:

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, contracts, and sponsorships, to support programmatic initiatives.
• Prepare grant proposals, budgets, and reports in collaboration with the development/fundraising team and finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in social nonprofit management, or related field preferred.
• Clinical licensure is required, experience with Integrated Safety Planning —
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in program management, preferably in a nonprofit or social services setting.
• Strong understanding of program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation principles and practices.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience supervising and developing program staff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. ● Commitment to the organization’s mission and values, with a passion for serving underserved communities and promoting social justice.

Compensation: The salary for this position is $75 to $150 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability.
