Overview
The Digital Inclusion Project Coordinator serves as the primary support role to the Project Management Officer (PMO) in implementing NMBLC’s digital inclusion strategy and related initiatives. This role is execution-focused and operational in nature. The Coordinator will assist in managing digital inclusion programs, website updates, outreach activities, training delivery, reporting, and community partnerships under the direction and supervision of the PMO. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-comfortable, responsive, and able to translate strategic direction into detailed implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital inclusion strategy that aligns with the NMBLC’s mission and objectives.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Maintain organized digital files, documentation, and reporting systems.
- Support data collection, attendance tracking, surveys, and program evaluation.
- Manage and update the NMBLC’s websites, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.
- Upload content, manage formatting, and ensure information is current.
- Support troubleshooting and coordination with vendors or tech partners as directed.
- Help manage digital tools used for forms, registrations, and outreach.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions aimed at improving digital literacy within the community.
- Organize tabling and outreach activities to promote digital inclusion initiatives and programs.
- Coordinate materials, sign-in sheets, follow-ups, and post-event reporting.
- Represent NMBLC professionally at community events.
- Collaborate with local organizations, educational institutions, and tech companies to secure resources and partnerships for digital inclusion efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital inclusion programs, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Serve as the NMBLC’s spokesperson on matters related to digital inclusion, engaging with the media, stakeholders, and the community.
- Prepare reports and presentations on digital inclusion activities for the NMBLC leadership and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Social Sciences, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in program coordination, digital inclusion, community outreach, or related work.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Comfort working with websites, online platforms, and digital tools.
- Ability to follow direction while working independently on assigned tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience assisting with training sessions, workshops, or events.
- Commitment to equity, community empowerment, and NMBLC’s mission.
