Medical Legal Partnership Attorney

Overview

This position supports the Sentara Medical Legal Partnership (MLP) Clinic by delivering legal services to low-income patients within a healthcare clinic setting. The MLP Attorney will manage a diverse caseload, coordinate with medical staff, and ensure compliance with pilot program goals and legal standards. The attorney will work with a diverse range of clients from a wide variety of backgrounds on various civil legal matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia State Bar Association member in good standing (Required)

Experience

• 10 years of Legal Aid or similar non-profit legal services organization experience (Required)
