POSITION SUMMARY
The Building Bridges Stay-at-Home Gala Procurement Assistant is based in Lakewood, Colorado, USA. This is a part-time contracted position starting December 2025 and ending in May 2026 at 25 (hours/month) and reports to the Senior Development Manager. This position is responsible for assistance of the 2026 Building Bridges Stay-at-Home Gala and the procurement and organization of the virtual silent auction.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Silent Auction Procurement
- Procure a strategic assortment of 60-70 quality online, silent, and live auction items with a goal to raise $15k.
- Provide creative ideas and procurement of exciting new items for live auction bidding.
- Organize and inventory all auction items.
- Procure new national items.
- Ensure that a description and electronic photo is obtained for each auction item once the item is secured.
- Responsible for final review and accuracy of spreadsheet before finalized.
- Responsible for the set up of auction items on Bloomerang Fundraising platform.
- Available to attend 2026 Gala on April 18, 2026 from 5pm to event close to support in online auction technical support.
- Complete after Gala activities including silent auction item mailing, data management, in kind thank you letter support, thank you phone calls to all Gala donors, and assist with hand written notecards.
- Other duties as required.
Gala Assistance
- Assist in recruiting event sponsors through phone calls and in person visits.
- Assist in promoting ticket sales for the 2026 Gala through phone calls.

- High School diploma or equivalency required
- Prior non-profit related experience preferred

- Superior skills and expertise with Microsoft applications; Word and Excel; and Google Suite required
- Exceptional communications skills and the ability to build strong relationships among various stakeholders. Some Spanish fluency a plus

- Ability to work with minimal daily supervision and manage priorities
