The project is supported by a broad coalition of non-profit environmental and community partners.

We are seeking an articulate, passionate, and highly organized individual to work with our management team to build awareness of the project among homeowners, retailers, landscape contractors, legislators, and the media.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the project's public education effort, which includes:

                  • Solicitation of additional supporting partners

                  • Outreach to retailers, water departments and government agencies

                  • Distribution of materials supporting organizations and the public

                  • Presentations to civic and community organizations

                  • Posting social media messages

                  • Handling incoming electronic and other correspondence

                  • Liaison with reporters, broadcasters and publications

Qualifications:

                  • Excellent writing and public speaking skills

                  • Facility with social media platforms

                  • Flexible schedule

                  • NYS Driver's license and own vehicle
