Religious School Assistant
10 hours a week, in person, with occasional extra holidays
Work hand in hand with the Head of the Congregation Dorshei Tzedek Religious Schools on Sunday morning and Tuesday evening to staff an in person religious school, provide basic administrative support and liaison with educational staff if needed.
Administrative work includes ordering and gathering of supplies, supporting attendance and occasionally assisting teachers with setting up a program.
In person work includes providing oversight and security of entrances, delivering of supplies and collecting attendance as people enter.
Skills include organization, appreciation for middle school shenanigans and a team spirit.
Hours are fixed for Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM and Thursday 3PM to 7PM. Occasional holidays (Purim/Hanukkah in place of normal schedule). This position is until the second week of May 2026 and will repeat in the fall. reliable transportation is required, as is the ability to lift 20lbs. Pay is $21 an hour.
