The consultant will work closely with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive fiscal strategy aligned with our five-year plan to double the organization’s operating budget. This role will also include advising on staffing needs, infrastructure enhancements, and overall development department capacity to achieve long-term financial sustainability and growth.

      • Identify opportunities for revenue diversification, including major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and recurring donor programs.
      • Recommend the ideal staffing structure (roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines) to support projected growth.
      • Assess and advise on tools, systems, and infrastructure needs (e.g., donor CRM, analytics, communications platforms).
      • Create measurable benchmarks and performance indicators to track fundraising progress over time.
      • Collaborate with leadership to ensure the development plan aligns with broader strategic objectives.
      • Provide guidance on board and leadership engagement in fundraising and donor stewardship.
      • Deliver a final written strategic development plan with recommendations, timelines, and budget considerations.

    Qualifications:

      • Proven experience (5+ years) in nonprofit development, fundraising strategy, or organizational consulting.
      • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing multi-year fundraising growth plans.
      • Knowledge of best practices in nonprofit revenue generation and donor stewardship.
      • Strong understanding of development team operations, workflows, and infrastructure needs.
      • Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights and strategies.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with executive-level stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience with nonprofits undergoing growth or scale-up phases.
      • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and fundraising analytics tools.
      • Background in capacity-building consulting.

    Application Process:
