The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager provides leadership and oversight for the Accounts Payable function of the Finance Department. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of all payables, maintains compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and drives continuous process improvement. The AP Manager supervises AP Specialists, reviews work for accuracy and ensures the AP team meets deadlines while supporting staff development.
The AP Manager acts as the primary point of escalation for AP-related issues, partners with other departments to resolve vendor and payment concerns and consistently reviews the AP aging and general ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy. This role plays a critical part in maintaining audit readiness, enforcing financial controls, and supporting organizational policies and procedures.
Salary & Compensation: $90,700 - $120,000 a year
The final salary will be determined based on an internal equitable scale that takes into consideration years of experience, geographic location, and final job description. The upper end of the salary range is reserved for individuals who significantly exceed the minimum qualifications and years of experience.
