ABOUT THE POSITION
The Digital Coordinator is a key member of the Communication department’s award-winning digital team and will primarily be responsible for day-to-day social copywriting, scheduling and smooth management of our social channels and digital content. They will also play an important role in content planning, cross-departmental collaboration, and audience growth, ensuring that the Innocence Project’s digital presence reflects the urgency, humanity, and impact of our mission.
The Digital Coordinator will have their pulse on news and media relevant to our work as well as our audience’s interests and, along with handling the daily management of our social channels, will assist in developing and creating digital content such as Tiktoks, Instagram Reels, and graphics for exonerations and campaigns, and evergreen moments. They are also accountable for reporting on social performance.
Additionally, the Digital Coordinator will collaborate with the Marketing team to cultivate relationships with influencers, public figures, and partner organizations that expand the reach of the Innocence Project’s storytelling and advocacy efforts.
Along with day-to-day coordination of social media channels, the Digital Coordinator plays a critical role in rapid-response, cross-channel communications during breaking-news moments, assisting with the coordination of messaging across email, development, SMS, website, design, and social platforms to activate audiences and drive action.
This full-time position reports to the Director of Digital Engagement.

The duties of this position require approximately 40 hours of work per week to be performed virtually/in-office. We currently have a hybrid in-office model, with all employees in the office three days per week and the remainder of the week remotely. Wednesday is our organization’s “anchor day” where all staff works in the office. The number of required in-office days is subject to change.

SALARY RANGE
$76,500 - $90,000/year. Salary commensurate with experience.
