    Position Summary:

    JCCA is seeking a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented Manager of Foundation and Corporate Partnerships to support the organization’s institutional fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for managing foundation and corporate grant activity, including prospect research, proposal development, reporting, and donor stewardship to help advance JCCA’s mission and program priorities.

    The Manager of Foundation and Corporate Partnerships will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Development staff, program leadership, and finance team to secure funding from private, corporate, and family foundations. This position plays an important role in maintaining strong funder relationships and ensuring timely, high-quality grant submissions and reports.

    The ideal candidate is a strong writer and project manager who is committed to mission-driven work and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

    Responsibilities:

    In collaboration with the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, develop and implement strategies to secure funding from private, corporate, and family foundations in alignment with JCCA’s mission and program priorities.

    Manage a portfolio of foundation and corporate funders, including stewardship, renewals, and cultivation of new prospects.

    Research and identify new institutional funding opportunities to support existing and emerging programs.

    Write, edit, and submit letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and funder reports in collaboration with program, finance, and development staff.

    Coordinate with program leadership to gather information needed for proposals, budgets, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

    Maintain and oversee grant tracking systems, funding calendars, and reporting schedules to ensure deadlines are met.

    Monitor funded projects to ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards.

    Work with Development and External Affairs staff to support fundraising initiatives, donor communications, and special projects as needed.

    Assist in evaluating funded programs by tracking outcomes and ensuring required data is available for reports.

    Collaborate across departments to prioritize funding opportunities and align proposals with organizational goals.

    Support the cultivation of relationships with current, new, and lapsed foundation and corporate partners.

    Contribute to the development of materials that support institutional fundraising and partnership development.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree required.

    3–5 years of experience in foundation, corporate, or grant fundraising.

    Experience managing the full grant lifecycle, including research, proposal writing, reporting, and stewardship.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    Strong grant writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

    Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong attention to detail.

    Experience working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Ability to communicate effectively with program staff, leadership, and external partners.

    Experience working in a nonprofit, social services, healthcare, or child welfare environment preferred.

    Experience with Salesforce or other fundraising CRM systems preferred.

    Familiarity with the New York City philanthropic landscape preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master’s degree preferred.

    Experience working in a multi-program nonprofit organization preferred.

    Experience with foundation and corporate fundraising in a human services or child welfare setting preferred.
