Position Description

We are looking for a bold, mission-driven, curious digital media junkie that lives and breathes Latino content across platforms. The Digital Platform Manager role requires management and oversight across video platforms, and our newsletter and website. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys building niche communities online, creating distinct personas, and diving into data. This role is responsible for posting on our channels, community management, reporting data and sharing data-informed insights with our team.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you can expect to do as the Digital Platform Manager

• Plan, schedule and publish all content across multiple video platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube) and weekly email newsletter (Mailchimp).
• Craft and edit copy, and produce creative assets for video platforms, email newsletter, and website (Wordpress).
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Pulso’s original / serialized content to measure the performance of our video franchises across platforms to measure audience growth and engagement.
• Report weekly data and insights (using our automated dashboards) that enable data driven decision making.
• Build niche communities for new and existing video franchise channels on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
• Maintain the editorial calendar up to date in Asana.
• Support the team with general platform management and ad-hoc projects, including troubleshooting technical issues, testing new features and updating the website as needed.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, platform updates and audience behavior to inform content strategy.
• Adhere to Pulso’s standards and internal processes related to content creation and platform management.

Experience and Requirements

• At least 4 years of demonstrated experience with social media management
• At least one year of experience in a leadership or management role
• Familiarity and comfortability using project management tools such as Asana, Google Drive, Slack, content schedulers, etc.
• Strong data analysis skills. Proven ability to track and report metrics, identify requirements and solve problems independently.
• Keeps a pulse on the issues that concern the US-based Latino community
• Demonstrated commitment to progressive ideals, social justice and social change through your work and/or volunteer experiences
• Highly entrepreneurial and thrives in a startup digital environment
• Able to easily iterate, pivot and experiment
• Comfortable working remotely
