    Your Job

    Basic Rights Oregon is seeking a full-time (35 hours per week) Communications Manager to help lead the development and execution of strategic communications that amplify our mission, elevate LGBTQ2SIA+ community voices, and expand our impact in fundraising, organizing and political campaigns. This role will drive and coordinate our branding, messaging, digital engagement, media relations, and storytelling across platforms to strengthen visibility, donor and volunteer engagement, and advocacy efforts. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience working in a professional communications environment, including writing and designing original content for a suite of communications platforms. Experience within a political or advocacy organization is preferred. We are seeking a skilled storyteller, strategic thinker, and collaborative leader with a strong commitment to our mission and who is enthusiastic about working with a team of colleagues who share equity values.

    This position is part of a bargaining unit and a member of AFSCME Local 1790.
