    Descrição

    About the Advancement team:

At BEAM, our Advancement team is a collaborative and dynamic group of six full-time staff members, working together to make sure we have the resources to fuel big dreams. Foundations currently provide about 40% of BEAM’s revenue (with individuals contributing 45% and corporations 15%), and building strong, lasting relationships with funders is at the heart of what we do.

As our Grants Manager, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Director of Institutional Giving to grow and deepen our foundation partnerships. Together, you’ll help raise more than $4 million annually — critical funding that will drive innovation and provide stability as we build towards future growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building the foundation (literally and figuratively!) for BEAM’s future.

    About the Grants Manager role:

Beyond technical expertise — we’re looking for someone who’s excited to tell BEAM’s story, connect with others, and think strategically about how we grow.

The Grants Manager will be an experienced development professional who knows the ins and outs of grant writing, prospect research, and funder stewardship. But just as importantly, they’ll be a critical thinker, creative problem-solver, and trusted collaborator — someone who’s comfortable juggling projects, meeting deadlines, and staying grounded in the mission behind the work.

If you love writing compelling narratives, diving into research, and building genuine relationships — and if you’re energized by the idea of making an impact for underserved students — we can’t wait to meet you.
