We are seeking an exceptionally talented, dynamic, self-starting, and collaborative individual with strong marketing experience and the confidence to exercise independent judgment. This person must be able to effectively coordinate with senior staff and engage with neighborhood stakeholders—including property owners, local businesses, cultural and educational institutions, government officials, vendors, and service providers.
The Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing a comprehensive marketing and communications program to support local businesses, cultural institutions and BID services. The Marketing & Communications Specialist will develop creative strategies to position Lincoln Square as a premier destination for tourists, locals, and those who work in the area. The Marketing & Communications Specialist reports to the Executive Vice President and works closely with the President, other staff and Board members, and will lead the organization’s marketing and communications efforts, including events, social media, and other special projects. This full-time, in-office position offers a great opportunity for personal and professional growth.

The Lincoln Square BID serves as the steward of Lincoln Square - the gateway to the Upper West Side. We promote all of the wonderful assets of this high profile, mixed-use residential neighborhood and cultural hub, and we work collaboratively with neighborhood stakeholders to seek solutions for issues including sanitation, public safety, retail vacancies, and traffic congestion that confront our neighborhood and the City.We supplement City services and act as a catalyst for positive change working with our stakeholders and City partners to ensure that Lincoln Square thrives.
This is a full-time in-person position and may include some evening hours. Salary is commensurate with education and prior work experience.
