    Descrição

The Tennessee Health Care Campaign is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to making health care affordable, accessible, and equitable for all Tennesseans. THCC works to improve access to quality health care through a combination of advocacy, education, community engagement, outreach, research, and direct assistance. The organization advocates for policies that improve health care access while helping Tennesseans understand the health care system and the resources available to them. THCC also provides free assistance to individuals seeking health insurance coverage through programs including TennCare, CoverKids, Medicare, and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Through its research and policy initiatives, THCC examines important health care issues affecting Tennessee communities, including rural hospital sustainability, rural health equity, consumer protections, health care costs, and barriers to coverage and care. The organization elevates the experiences of Tennesseans through community stories and uses those experiences to raise awareness about the real-world impact of gaps in the state's health care system. At the community level, THCC connects people with health care information, insurance enrollment assistance, and other resources while developing relationships with organizations and communities across the state. Together, these efforts advance THCC's vision of a healthier and more equitable Tennessee in which everyone has access to quality, affordable health care.

STATUS: Full-time or part-time, depending on candidate and organizational needs. Flexible schedule with the ability to set work hours within reason. This is a remote position based in Tennessee, with occasional travel for meetings, outreach, fundraising, and community events.
