About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families, thrives in a community-centered environment, and is passionate about providing excellent customer service.
As the first point of contact for our dancers, families, faculty, and visitors, you'll help create a warm, inclusive, and organized experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome dancers, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer questions about classes, programs, policies, and the organization.
- Provide administrative and day-to-day support to faculty, staff, students, and families.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures as needed.
- Respond to inquiries, and direct questions to the appropriate staff members.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
- Support daily studio operations and assist with special events or projects as needed.
- Ensure restrooms remain stocked and clean for dancer use.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with children and adults.
- Organized with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to multitask in a busy, family-oriented environment.
- Comfortable using basic computer programs and learning new systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in childcare, child development, or early childhood education.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Interest in the arts, dance, music, or creative education.
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, education, childcare, or a similar role is a plus.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Hours include weekday afternoons and evenings
