The Organization
Founded in Los Angeles in 1990 (originally as the Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity), Jewish Creativity International (JCI) serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 independent projects engaged in Jewish arts and culture. Through its fiscal sponsorship model, JCI enables artists and cultural organizations to solicit and manage charitable funds under a compliant, transparent, and supportive framework. JCI ensures adherence to nonprofit regulations and sustains a vibrant ecosystem of Jewish creative expression across artistic disciplines.
In August 2024, JCI engaged its first senior manager, a contracted position replacing the organization’s President Emeritus. Following a strategic review of the organization’s structure and policies, the organization now seeks its first full-time, salaried Executive Director as the organization moves into its next phase.
The Position
The Executive Director is the chief executive of Jewish Creativity International and reports directly to the Board of Directors. This full-time, remote position leads JCI’s operations, financial management, compliance, and strategic development. The Executive Director will work independently and ensure that JCI’s fiscal sponsorship program operates with integrity, efficiency, and alignment to its mission—supporting the creative, administrative, and financial well-being of the artists and organizations it serves.
The Executive Director provides visionary leadership while managing day-to-day operations, ensuring fiscal stewardship and maintaining the organization’s strong reputation for trust, transparency, and service.
