    Descrição

    THE MISSION

American Friends of Combatants for Peace (AFCFP) is a diverse community of U.S. and international activists advancing the nonviolent work of collective liberation in Palestine and Israel. We act in solidarity with Combatants for Peace (CfP), a grassroots nonviolent movement of Israelis and Palestinians working together to end the occupation and build a future rooted in peace, equality, and freedom.

AFCFP raises awareness and resources, builds community, and takes nonviolent direct action to advance a just peace in Israel and Palestine. We believe in a world where all people live with dignity, justice, and liberty.

    THE OPPORTUNITY

AFCFP is a growing organization with an annual budget of approximately $1.5 million, with the majority of revenue coming from individual donors across the United States.

Over the past three years, AFCFP has experienced significant growth in both revenue and donor engagement. As we enter a new phase, we are focused on strengthening our fundraising infrastructure, deepening donor relationships, and ensuring long-term sustainability.

We are seeking an Associate Director of Development to serve as a key partner to the Executive Director in leading fundraising efforts, managing donor relationships, and strengthening development strategy and systems. The position also collaborates with the Programs & Operations Manager and CfP staff, activists, and volunteers in Israel and Palestine.

This is a unique opportunity for a development professional who is both relational and strategic, and who is motivated to work in a mission-driven organization and with a small, high-performing team where they can have meaningful impact across multiple aspects of fundraising.

The Associate Director works closely with the Executive Director and collaborates across the organization to ensure fundraising efforts are coordinated, effective, and aligned with organizational priorities.

The Associate Director reports to the Executive Director and operates within a small, highly collaborative, fully remote team. This position is a full-time, remote, exempt position. The role operates primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend commitments, and requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.
