    Descrição

Puget Sound Sage and Sage Leaders (“Sage”) seeks an Executive Director to lead our sister c3 and c4 organizations. Full job announcement can be found here: https://pugetsoundsage.org/about-us/jobs/

This is a multifaceted role for an experienced leader with strong communication skills and clear fundraising expertise. Our new Executive Director will lead our 15 member team in our mission to chart a bold path to a living economy in the South Salish Sea and Duwamish River Valley (South Seattle and South King County) regions by developing community power to influence, lead, and govern. At Sage, we organize growing communities where all families thrive.

We work heavily in coalition with other community-based organizations, grassroots groups, government, and our growing base in the Chinatown International-District to advocate for and pass some of the region’s most exciting policies that promote climate justice, good jobs, and equitable development in low-wage and people of color communities. Our 501(c)4 arm cultivates deep democracy in Washington State by developing Black, Indigenous, and People of Color community leaders for civic and elected leadership.

Are you a leader deeply committed to change at the community level? Do you believe in shared power, partnership, and the power of BIPOC leaders? Sage is the place for you.

Sage seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. The Executive Director will provide visionary, strategic, and operational leadership—guiding Sage’s policy, organizing, and leadership development work while ensuring strong organizational health, financial sustainability, and long-term impact. This leader will embody a collaborative, grounded leadership style that leverages the collective knowledge and power of staff, communities, and partners to advance lasting structural change.
