Opportunity Overview
The ACMT Education Program Coordinator is an integral part of the organization’s educational activities, supporting event logistics, and education program coordination. This position reports to the ACMT Education Program Manager and assists with the administration and promotion of in-person conferences, virtual courses, webinars, online projects, and more.
This is a highly collaborative role that offers the right candidate the opportunity to gain experience in diverse aspects of project management, event logistics, and professional education programming. Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, is able to handle multiple tasks at once, manages time effectively, and balances direction from multiple individuals while maintaining strong attention to detail.
About ACMT
The American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) is a professional, nonprofit association of approximately 900 physicians with recognized expertise in medical toxicology. Our members specialize in the diagnosis, management, and prevention of many toxicologic disorders including but not limited to: envenomations; chemical exposures; addiction management and the opioid epidemic; adverse drug reactions and adverse drug events; occupational exposures; environmental toxins; and biologic and warfare agents.
Although ACMT is based in Phoenix, AZ this position is not office-based and is by remote only. We have a small, collaborative team of around 20 staff members who all work from home and conduct business virtually. Some travel is required -- two or three times a year to work an in-person event or attend staff retreats.

All positions are 100% remote and employees can live anywhere in the United States. You should be able to travel for events as needed, a few times a year (roughly 5-10% travel).
ACMT offers a market-based competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package (including medical/dental/vision insurance), 20 days of paid time off, 6 paid national holidays, paid leave (disability/parental), matching 401(k) plan, work-life flexibility and professional development opportunities.
The starting salary for this position is $45,000 and $60,000, with flexibility of higher compensation depending on an applicant’s relevant training, education and experience.
