    Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) is a nationally-recognized intermediary organization dedicated to improving the economic and education outcomes of Philadelphia’s youth. Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) is committed to building a dynamic, equitable, and inclusive youth workforce in Philadelphia. Our goal is to break the cycle of generational poverty by creating pathways to educational and workforce success. We envision a future in which young adults in Philadelphia are employed in jobs of their choosing because they have the resources, skills, and confidence needed to succeed. PYN serves 800 youth and young adults (ages 12-24) annually, working with strategic employer and community-based partners to create education and employment opportunities. We create impact through career-connected learning in out-of-school time (OST) programs, work-based learning including summer and school-year internships, career placement, and systems building that drives collective impact and increases employer competencies in promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging for young adults in the workplace.     POSITION SUMMARY

    Reporting Into the Development Director, The Corporate Partners Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening strategic relationships with corporate partners to support PYN’s youth workforce development programs. This role cultivates new business partnerships and deepens existing collaborations to drive funding, internship placements, employee engagement, and in-kind support aligned with organizational priorities.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Corporate Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of corporate partners and sponsors.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate donors, ensuring excellent partner experience and stewardship.
    • Develop tailored engagement strategies that align corporate partners’ philanthropic, CSR and business goals with PYN’s mission and programs.
    • Coordinate employer commitments regarding hosting interns and hiring young adults.
    • Coordinate employee engagement opportunities, including site visits, career panels, and mentoring opportunities

    Business Development & Fundraising

    • Grow the PYN EITC and NAP programs through a strategic plan that promotes PYN as an eligible recipient of these corporate tax credit programs.
    • Help establish and manage the organization's first ever Corporate Partners program and related annual campaign
    • Formalize a program and 'menu of opportunity' for PYN corporate sponsorships
    • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities with prospective corporate partners.
    • Collaborate with the development and program teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and partnership packages that promote 'Ways to Engage' with PYN.
    • Support annual fundraising campaigns and events, including sponsorship outreach and activation.

    Strategic Collaboration

    • Work cross-functionally with programming, communications, and finance teams to support partner deliverables and reporting.
    • Develop metrics and track performance to evaluate partnership outcomes.
    • Stay informed about workforce trends and corporate social responsibility strategies to enhance PYN’s positioning in the business community.

    Communications & Reporting

    • Prepare partner updates, impact reports, and recognition materials.
    • Maintain accurate partner records and data in the PYN CRM system (Give Smart).
    • Represent PYN at partner events, networking functions, and conferences.

    POSITION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s degree required in business, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in corporate relations, fundraising, business development, or a similar role, ideally in a nonprofit or membership-based organization
    • Proven track record of securing corporate funding and building long-term partnerships.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Familiarity with Philadelphia’s business and nonprofit ecosystem is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems

    • Ability to lead and manage partnership initiatives and campaigns efficiently.
    • Proficient in conveying PYN’s mission and impact to corporate partners, stakeholders, and community leaders.
    • Flexibility to stay informed on workforce and CSR trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Skilled at fostering a professional, collaborative, and supportive environment for partners and colleagues.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to stand, walk, and move around event and meeting spaces for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. when setting up presentations, sponsorship activations, or event materials.
    • Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including offices, partner sites, and event venues (indoor and outdoor).
    • Willingness to travel locally for meetings, site visits, and networking events.
