Job Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Location: Jackson, MS
Reports To: Operations Director / General Manager
Type: Part-Time (30 hrs. weekly), potential for Full-Time
Compensation: $20 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Warehouse Coordinator to lead our logistics operations and serve as a primary ambassador for our organization. This role is responsible for the "full circle" of our inventory—from managing the physical flow of goods in the warehouse to building external partnerships that ensure our goods reach the people or businesses that need them most.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Inventory Control: Oversee receiving, shelving, and dispatching of all goods. Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure 100% data accuracy.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant facility. Ensure all staff and volunteers follow safety protocols.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage shipping schedules, coordinate with food distribution, and optimize delivery routes to reduce costs and lead times.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse personnel or volunteer teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse management or logistics
Technical: Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems (WMS), CRM software, and Microsoft Excel
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. This is a part-time position with potential for growth.
