Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

 Bachelor of Education (Teaching Certification preferred)

 Experience teaching in an elementary school

Able to teach elementary level Math, Science, Social, Studies, and English. Ability to teach French as well, a plus.

Successful applicants must demonstrate:

 Knowledge of American curriculum and evaluation systems

 Proven experience in programming for students of all abilities, interests and learning styles

 Ability to skillfully manage and engage students in a classroom setting

 Ability to effectively document student learning (reporting and recording), and use assessments and evaluations to guide instruction

 On-going commitment to student success

 Professional and respectful attitude with parents, colleagues and administration

 Superior organizational and time-management skills

 Ability to function collaboratively as a member of a team or committee

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and administration

 Conflict resolution skills

 A strong commitment to the mission, vision and values of IQRA BA

 Proficiency in the English language (oral and written)
