    About the Role

Richmond Aging and Engaging is hiring a Rollator Repair Program Coordinator to support the expansion, coordination, and day-to-day operations of our Rollator Repair Program. This is a new and evolving position created in response to program growth and increasing community demand.

The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and visibility of our rollator repair clinics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, working independently, communicating with partners, and taking ownership of a growing program. We are looking for a leader - someone who is passionate about serving others and aligned with the mission of improving safety, mobility, and access for older adults and community members.

    About Richmond Aging and Engaging

Richmond Aging and Engaging (RAE) is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting low-income older adultsthrough community-based programs that promote safety, connection, and independence. Learn more about RAE at www.agingandengaging.org.

    About the Rollator Repair Program

Richmond Aging and Engaging's Rollator Repair Program was created in response to a growing and often overlooked need: many older adults rely on rollators for daily mobility, yet lack access to affordable repairs, routine maintenance, or guidance on safe use. Small issues, such as worn brakes, loose wheels, or poor fit, can significantly increase fall risk, but are frequently left unaddressed due to cost, transportation barriers, or limited availability of repair services. RAE launched the Rollator Repair Program to close this gap by bringing safety checks, maintenance, and repairs directly into low-income community settings (including senior apartment buildings and community centers). In 2025, RAE held 30 community rollator clinics and serviced 130 rollators.
