Reporting to the Academic Program Manager of General Education, the Instructional Design Assistant/College Assistant will support program staff and faculty in the development, revision and maintenance of General Education online courses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the building and revision of courses in the Brightspace learning environment using new and revised content provided by the academic program
• Provide maintenance support for existing courses on an as-needed basis
• Perform other related duties, as assigned

Preferred Minimum Qualification:

• High school diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with Brightspace or similar learning management systems (LMS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or other productivity suites
• Interest in or experience with emerging educational technologies and open-source educational materials
• Demonstrated comfort and confidence working with digital tools and platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Coursework or prior experience in instructional design or related fields
