Sales Associate - Outbound Calling

Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour

DESCRIPTION

Better Business Bureau® of Metropolitan New York (BBB®) is hiring motivated outbound phone Sales Associates. Beginning base salary for new hires is $17.00/hour. We provide a generous commission and bonus structure; commissions are earned on completed sales only. Benefits are included as applicable. Base salary for the 35-hour work week is $30,940. No nights or weekends.

Base plus commission can total $65-$70K at commission target (this total is not guaranteed salary). High earners have made $100K+ for base plus commission.

Experienced with outbound calling

Enthusiastic, ethical and work with integrity

Organized, adaptable and flexible

Self-motivated for high-level performance and not easily discouraged

Working in office for now and could transition to a hybrid setting between Long Island office and home in the future. In office: equipment supplied. Hybrid: must have reliable internet access at home and dedicated, undisturbed safe space to work, laptop computer supplied. Training will be onsite in Long Island office.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus but not required)

Accountable to:

Meet monthly goals

Follow up with assigned leads in timely and professional manner

Develop own appropriate leads to add to those we provide

Close initial sales process and hand off to other internal departments for balance of process

Follow company procedures and all policies

Build trusting relationships through our virtual selling environment

Requirements:

Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales goals

Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and software

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with leads and coworkers

Outbound calling experience is preferable

Training is provided in person and ongoing and virtually as needed.

Work Location – Farmingdale, NY

In-Office Training Required with potential Hybrid after training is completed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
