Job Summary:
NAF is seeking a Director of Product Growth & Partnerships to help lead the next phase of scale for KnoPro.org and NAF’s growing portfolio of digital products!
KnoPro [powered by NAF] is a free digital product designed to expand access to career-connected and work-based learning opportunities for students nationwide. As NAF continues to invest in digital products that support career readiness, work-based learning, and career academy success, this role will help build the growth systems, partnerships, and distribution strategies needed to scale impact across multiple products over time.
The Director will operate at the intersection of product growth, product marketing, platform partnerships, and ecosystem development. While KnoPro will serve as the primary near-term focus, this role will also help shape broader strategies related to user growth, engagement, partnership-driven product distribution, integrations, and long-term sustainability across NAF’s digital product ecosystem.
The Director will be accountable for scaling KnoPro from 50,000 to 500,000+ students over the next five years, strengthening activation and retention, building and nurturing partnerships that unlock scale through existing student networks, and helping shape long-term sustainability strategies across NAF’s digital product portfolio.
This is a builder role with clear ownership and accountability, on a small start-up like product team within a larger national organization. The Director will define strategy, execute against it, monitor progress and adjust tactics independently, and work cross-functionally to deliver measurable growth.
This role reports to the VP, Product & Innovation and partners closely with the Sr. Director, Digital Product Management, Sr. Director, Strategic Market Development, as well as the Marketing & Communications, Engineering & Data, Program and Philanthropy teams, as well as other cross-functional leaders.
This is a fully remote position, with travel required as needed, up to 15-20% per year to support conferences, partner meetings, school visits, and strategic growth opportunities in key regions.
Preferred Educational/Training:
Coursework, certifications, and/or degree in marketing, business, communications, product management, entrepreneurship, education, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- 4-7+ years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, partnerships, product growth, business development or related roles.
- Demonstrated success scaling a digital product or platform, or online community through measurable user growth, required.
- Experience building or managing partnership-driven distribution channels.
- Experience working in edtech, digital platforms, consumer technology, and/or education marketplace environments.
- Experience contributing to sustainability or monetization strategies is a plus.
- Familiarity with K–12 education, career readiness, workforce development, or nonprofit ecosystems, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of growth strategy, product-led growth, user acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and referral dynamics.
- Knowledge of campaign analytics, experimentation frameworks, and performance measurement strategies.
- Understanding of digital product ecosystems, integrations, and scalable distribution models.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, pitching, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build scalable growth systems, partnership playbooks, and operational processes.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, project management tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Ability to work independently while building strong cross-functional collaborative relationships.
