    The Public Funding Coordinator secures and administers public funding for the organization's real estate development priorities, ensures compliance with funding requirements, and maintains the records, systems, reporting and coordination necessary to support successful project delivery.

    Required Qualifications

    Education, credentials, and experience:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 3–5 years of experience in public funding administration, grant administration, affordable housing, project coordination, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
    • Experience interpreting funding agreements, regulations, or compliance requirements and coordinating documentation, reporting, and fund disbursements.
    • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines while working with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others.
    • Attention to Detail: Ensures information is complete and accurate and follows up to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
    • Collaboration: Works effectively with others, inside and outside the organization, to achieve shared goals.
    • Problem Solving: Identifies problems and uses logic, judgment, and data to evaluate alternatives and recommend solutions to achieve the desired organizational goal or outcome.
    • Analytical Thinking: Breaks down raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identifies the issues at hand.

    Union Status: This position is represented by a labor union. A first collective bargaining agreement is currently under negotiation, and terms and conditions of employment may be subject to change upon completion of the bargaining process.
