Site Manager

Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily operations across our Takoma Park and Wheaton locations. This role will manage the day to day coordination of our kitchen, meal delivery, volunteer, transportation, and facility operations.

This position is ideal for someone who is hands on, organized, comfortable supervising staff, and able to keep a busy operation moving while solving problems as they come up.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations across our Takoma Park and Wheaton locations
• Transport meals and items between program locations and community partners
• Coordinate meal production, packing, and daily delivery operations
• Manage staffing and volunteer coverage for daily operations
• Monitor inventory and budgetary needs
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and operational standards are followed
• Manage relationships with vendors and host sites
• Monitor site expenses and operational needs
• Identify and address issues that could impact daily service

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience

• Experience managing day to day operations in a fast paced environment
• Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers
• Strong organization and problem solving skills
• Comfortable working in a hands on environment
• Experience with food service, nonprofit operations, logistics, facilities, or community based programs preferred
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Experience with Microsoft 365 required

Position Details

Title: Site Manager

Location: Onsite across Takoma Park and Wheaton, Maryland

Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, Schedule may vary based on operational needs.

Salary: $50,000 to $60,000

• 80 hours of paid sick leave annually
• 12 paid holidays each year
• 8 weeks of paid parental leave after 90 days of employment, increasing to 12 weeks after 1 year
