    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, GIRLS ROCK! DC

    ABOUT GIRLS ROCK! DC

Girls Rock! DC works at the intersection of art and activism, providing music programs for young people to learn, grow, and rock out together.

The organization fosters a supportive, inclusive, and equitable space that centers girls and non-binary youth, trans and queer youth, and Black and brown youth. Its unique approach to music education — through a social justice and equity lens — allows DC’s young folks to build community and explore their passion for social change through after-school programs, workshops, and camps. Girls Rock! DC serves over 300 youth each year.

Prepare and maintain the organization’s overall and individual program budgets. Directly consult with a bookkeeper, who is responsible for carrying out accounting, compliance, and bookkeeping tasks. Produce monthly and annual financial reports for Board, team, and stakeholders, and provide ongoing cash flow analysis, financial oversight, and course correcting when necessary.

    FUNDRAISING
