The Programming Associate is a dynamic role, ideal for an arts administrator with a strong drive to bring arts education experiences to young people. The ideal candidate has a personal passion and commitment to the arts, and a curiosity about all art forms and their relevance in K-12 education.
Working under the supervision of the Programming Director, the Programming Associate fields incoming calls and requests for YA programming, managing the client experience from start to finish. A hallmark of YA is excellent service and support to our school partners and artists—the Programming Associate is important to a high level of service. The Programing Associate also provides administrative support for the Programming Director, and Education staff. Administrative duties include scheduling, data entry, processing purchase orders, insurance requests, and artists confirmations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales of Workshop and Residencies (60-70%)
Education Department Administrative Support (20-30%)
Contribute to YA Initiatives (10%)

This position requires significant computer usage for email communications, Zoom/Teams meetings, interoffice communications on Teams, and data entry.
