The New England Region of the Jewish Labor Committee is seeking candidates for the position of Regional Director. This individual will be an employee of the Jewish Labor Committee and will work closely with regional lay leadership.
The Regional Director will oversee the region’s operations, programming, communications, and outreach across all six New England states. This role includes responsibility for fundraising efforts, public engagement, and strategic planning, as well as coordinating regular meetings of the regional board. A key priority will be strengthening existing relationships and building new connections with union leaders, labor activists, and Jewish communal institutions. The goal is to foster meaningful collaboration and deepen mutual understanding across these communities.
As the public representative of the region, the Regional Director will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including political leaders, labor organizations, interfaith partners, and the organized Jewish community. The position also includes oversight of the development and implementation of an Organizer Training Program.
This is a full-time opportunity for someone passionate about the intersection of Jewish life, labor, and social justice. The ideal candidate is motivated to make a meaningful impact within both the Jewish community and the labor movement. As part of the Jewish Labor Committee, the successful candidate will join a historic national organization with a 90-year legacy, originally founded to support Jews and labor leaders fleeing Nazi persecution.
