    Anticipated Start: May 1, 2026

    Type: Temporary; Part Time, 20-25 hours/week, Non-Exempt

    About Us

Global Growers Network (GGN) is a nonprofit based in Decatur, GA & Conyers, GA, and is home to a network of more than 200 diverse farmers and food systems leaders who are growing fresh, culturally significant foods for their families and the local marketplace. With a focus on equity, justice and diversity in our local food system, we represent over 20 cultures and languages. We operate a network of community gardens in Decatur and Clarkston, a market farm located at the Indian Creek MARTA station in Stone Mountain, and a 23-acre organic co-farm in Conyers.

About the Project: Market + Hunger Relief at Indian Creek Market Farm

In 2024, GGN entered an agreement with MARTA to launch the Indian Creek Market Farm. Home of the founding farmers of GGN (the Umurima Collective), this site is for growers who are interested in cultivating produce for sale (versus home consumption). GGN has partnered with the farmers to host multiple pop-up markets, pick-your-own/pay-what-you-can events, and a weekly produce box (CSA: Burundi Bundle). Beginning in 2026, additional growers have registered at this site with the intention of taking part in market readiness training, accessing infrastructure to support sales activities (cold storage), developing economic resilience, and building connections with local buyers.

To address growing demand for fresh produce at low cost, GGN has secured funding to address hunger relief efforts through The Market + Hunger Relief Project. This initiative leverages the infrastructure, accessibility, and readiness of the Indian Creek Market Farm to serve as a market incubator for multiple growers, and builds off of the efforts that staff and farmers have put into both the land and local relationships. GGN is launching this project to ensure that fresh local produce is distributed at free or donation-based cost to community members in need, while ensuring that producers develop market readiness skills, connections, and experience.
