Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annual salary
Work Hours: Core hours are 9 - 5, Monday - Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
Hybrid: 2 - 3 days/week in office and at NYC based events
Location: Office Address is 475 Riverside Drive, Suite 1626, New York, NY 10115 and event sites

Our College and Career Programs provide the long-term support for women with justice history while they complete their educational endeavors and start their journey
Position Overview
The Program Coordinator provides academic counseling to students enrolled in CCF. They promote academic success with an understanding of each student's social, economic, and cultural context. The Program Coordinator also develops and delivers programming including workshops, recruitment presentations, and events across the programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, financial aid, and partner referrals to our members
- Meet regularly with our students each semester to provide support through college exploration to graduation
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges and community based organizations and other support for the students
- Collaborate and develop student support service activities
- Coordinate educational related financial support (scholarships, emergency funds, transportation, books, supplies, and tutoring)
- Stay informed on public higher education policy by monitoring a mix of federal, state and institutional sources, advocacy groups, attend public hearings, and follow public policy-focused social media accounts to keep awareness of trends in funding, tuition and academic regulations
- Maintain reporting requirements, including documentation in Salesforce and MS Office Suite, be able to create and generate reports in Salesforce
- Serve as a task manager for Social Work interns
- Participate in staff meetings and training courses
- Collaborate to design programming based on participant needs
- Identify and coordinate experts, speakers, and workshop contributors
- Plan events including Community Meetings, graduation, and other member functions and programs, this may require scheduling rooms and ordering, along other administrative duties
- Lead and co-facilitate workshops and presentations
- Serve as liaison with school partners to support dually enrolled students
- Other duties assigned as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field preferred; 6 years’ experience considered in lieu of degree
- 3 years of working knowledge and experience in counseling, coaching, or learning specialties
- 5 years of strong computer skills. MS Office Suite preferred. Solid experience with creating documents, presentations and spreadsheets. Comfortable with mining data and telling a story with it
- 2 years of CRM (Salesforce preferred)
- Must be able to work limited evenings/weekends when required by programs and events
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with justice-impacted individuals preferred
- 2 years’ experience in social policy and advocacy
