Virginia Union Organizing Apprenticeship Based in Northern Virginia, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Richmond, Hampton Roads

UNITE HERE Local 25 is looking for indiviudals who are passionate about fighting for justice to join us for our union organizing apprenticeship in Virginia. The start date is flexible (though sooner is better). Organizing experience is not required. Good candidates will be flexible, sociable, reliable and dedicated.

UNITE HERE Local 25 is a militant, rapidly-growing union organizing hospitality workers in the DMV area and across Virginia. With over 7,500 members, Local 25 has organized, fought, and won life-changing contracts for hospitality workers. The workers represented by our union have used their collective power to win some of the best union contracts for hotel workers in the world, and to be on the frontlines of fighting for democracy and justice in the nation’s capital.

Organizing Apprentices play a critical role in driving campaigns and receive intensive training. Our program allows you to get hands-on organizing training with mentorship from organizers experienced in taking on multinational corporations and winning.
