    Descrição

    About the Organization

La Raza Centro Legal (LRCL) is a 53-year-old nonprofit organization based in San Francisco’s Mission District, providing free legal representation to low-income community members throughout the Bay Area. We provide services in Immigration Law, Elder & Disability Law, and Workers’ Rights. We pride ourselves on a collaborative, professional, and inclusive culture, and we are committed to providing high-quality legal services to the communities we serve. Staff are offered opportunities for professional development, and our office culture supports work-life balance.

    Position Overview

Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Office Administrator provides administrative support to La Raza Centro Legal as a whole, as well as dedicated support to specific program teams.

The Office Administrator and other staff at reception are the face of the organization and the public’s first point of contact with La Raza Centro Legal. The Office Administrator sets the tone for the organization’s relationships with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders and partners, and must represent LRCL with diplomacy, dedication, and cultural humility.

The Office Administrator has primary responsibility for reception and front desk duties, triaging phone calls, database entry, pre screening and intake for people seeking services, providing referrals to community members seeking services and support, tracking calls, emails, and walk-ins, and supporting legal program clinics and intake processes. Like all LRCL staff, the Office Administrator will also support a variety of organizational efforts and must be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work independently.
