ABOUT INTERNATIONAL HARTFORD
International Hartford runs the Preneurship Business Program — a family of cohort-based “Schools” that help entrepreneurs across our community launch and grow real businesses. Each School is a six-session mastermind led by an experienced practitioner.
THE ROLE — JOIN OUR TEACHING BENCH
We are building a bench of Adjunct Coachs: practitioners ready to lead one of our six-session Preneurship Schools when a cohort is scheduled. Being accepted to the bench means you are vetted and ready to be matched to a course — it is not a promise of a specific class (see “How assignments work” below).

BarberPreneurship School · Chamber Members · Parkville Preneurship School · StartupPreneur School · TechPreneur School · WebsitePreneur School · ConsultingPreneur School · Foodpreneurs School — plus new Schools as the program grows.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and teach all six weekly 90-minute sessions of your assigned course for the semester block.
- Cultivate an engaged, mastermind-style cohort of at least nine participants.
- Be available for one-on-one coaching sessions, booked through the scheduling tool provided by International Hartford.
- Submit a syllabus and session outline before the block, and attend instructor orientation.
- Track participant attendance and progress, and keep the Program Office informed.
SCHEDULE
Courses run in six-week blocks across four terms — Fall, Winter, Spring, and a Summer session — with weekly 90-minute meetings. You tell us the terms and topics you are available for; we match you to blocks as cohorts fill.
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Coachs are paid a flat honorarium per six-session course — currently $1,750 to $2,500, by experience and tier — in two equal installments. Payment is per assigned course.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Real-world expertise in your subject — you’ve done the thing you’ll teach.
- A gift for coaching, mentoring, or teaching adults.
- Reliability, warmth, and comfort leading a peer group.
- Availability for at least one six-week block per year.
How assignments work (please read). Acceptance to the teaching bench does not guarantee a class. Course assignments are made block by block and depend on participant enrollment (a minimum of nine per cohort), program need, funding, and fit. Bench members are contacted as cohorts are scheduled, and you may decline any offered block.
