    Reports To: Development Director

Atlas Free is on a mission to end sex trafficking and exploitation. Our work is urgent, relational, and built on trust. Strong fundraising requires more than compelling stories or passionate advocates—it requires systems, discipline, and operational excellence.

This role exists to build and lead the operational infrastructure that allows Atlas Free’s fundraising efforts to scale. From donor journeys to reporting systems, the Donor Systems Manager ensures that we operate with clarity, consistency, and measurable results. We are looking for a Development Manager who can design and lead the systems that support donor engagement, retention, and revenue growth. This role requires someone who thinks strategically about processes, builds strong infrastructure, and ensures teams execute with discipline.

    What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is measured by the strength, reliability, and scalability of the systems that drive donor engagement and revenue. It looks like:

    • Clear, repeatable, and scalable systems that support the full donor lifecycle across the organization
    • Operational infrastructure that allows the Development team to execute with speed, precision, and consistency
    • Partnership with Marketing to improve donor engagement and retention driven by defined journeys and workflow execution
    • Reliable, accurate data and reporting that informs strategic decisions and drives results
    • Healthy donor pipelines supported by strong prospect identification and management systems
    • Cross-functional alignment ensuring donors experience Atlas Free as a unified, organized organization
    • Teams executing donor engagement and stewardship with clarity, discipline, and consistency, backed by robust training and operational guidance
    • Structure and clarity to complexity with focus on processes, workflows, and continuous operational improvement.
    • All systems point back to scaling our revenue goals with efficiency.

This role demands operational leadership, strategic thinking, and ruthless discipline. The right candidate is obsessed with building systems that work, auditing them regularly, and creating processes that enable long-term growth.

    The Work You’ll Lead

    • Design, optimize, and manage fundraising systems, including donor journeys, pipelines, and workflows
    • Lead and develop a small team, providing clear priorities, workflows, and cross-team coordination for aligned execution
    • Partner with the CRM Specialist and Analyst to track KPIs and ensure reporting drives informed fundraising decisions
    • Build and execute donor engagement strategies, including communication journeys and timely, personalized outreach
    • Ongoing risk mitigation through strong processes, compliance, and data integrity safeguards
    • Lead initiatives that boost retention, second-gift conversion, and long-term donor engagement across campaigns and events
    • Oversee donor journey infrastructure, mapping pathways, touchpoints, and engagement processes
    • Develop systems for donor acquisition and pipeline growth, including prospect research, wealth screening, and emerging revenue pathways
    • Manage a portfolio of 50+ donors, ensuring timely communication, stewardship, and connection to their impact
    • Perform other duties as assigned

This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, balancing team leadership, donor stewardship, and operational discipline.

    The Context You’re Stepping Into

This is a high-impact team, advancing Atlas Free’s development efforts with focus and intention. This role calls for an operational leader who can build infrastructure that allows fundraising efforts to scale while maintaining the relational depth that defines our work. About Atlas Free

Atlas Free is a nonprofit organization building a global movement to put sex trafficking and exploitation out of business. Working in over 65 countries with over 140 Network Members, we unite funders, adventurers, and everyday people with the best local initiatives in the world to maximize impact and dismantle human trafficking. We specialize in accelerating frontline solutions and creating resources and tools to address one of the current most pressing global issues. Our faith informs our belief that all people are created with equal dignity and value—that there is always hope and that good is far more powerful than evil. The heart of our work is centered around the millions of men, women, and children living in exploitation and vulnerability every day.

    Mission Statement

To accelerate and resource the fight against sex trafficking and exploitation.

    Core Values

    • Trustworthy
    • Integrity
    • Strategic
    • Servant Leadership
    • Jesus-centric
    • Focused on the Mission

    Statement of Faith

The work we do is informed and motivated by a deep faith in Jesus and a commitment to His teachings.

This is how we know what love is: “Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:16-18

We believe that all people are created in the image of God with inherent value. They are worthy of love, and our best efforts to affirm that value. Our programs serve all people from all backgrounds without discrimination of any kind. “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

We advocate for the vulnerable and exploited because we believe there is hope for a restored life and a better future. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” – Jesus, Luke 4:18

    Statement of Practice

As followers of Jesus, our desire is to obey his teachings in all areas of our lives. We understand that faith is deeply personal, and many of us may come from different Christian traditions, but we believe that we are part of “One Body” and united in our faith in Jesus. While some of our views and practices may vary, we share a commitment to Christian orthodoxy and scripture and a belief that spiritual community is an essential element of how we practice our faith. We share a commitment to "Love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to love our neighbors like ourselves" (Matthew 22:23-40). As a diverse team from many countries, cultures, and Christian traditions, we focus on the elements and practices of our faith and orthodoxy that unite us and not divide us.
