    • Explore opportunities to enhance data capabilities through the integration of new technologies and automation solutions
    • Manage software development and system enhancement for Compost Industry Database (CID), and other association programs (such as Seal of Testing Assurance (STA) or Certification Commission) by serving as liaison between staff and developer to define development work, ensure proper prioritization, and implementation.

    • Collaborate with membership, marketing and communications teams to segment data, create targeted lists, and analyze campaign performance.
    • Conduct regular data audits and quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations. Oversee maintenance of the association's membership database, ensuring the "ruthless prioritization" on accuracy and completeness of member records.
    • Provide training and support to staff on data management best practices, database usage, and reporting tools and cybersecurity practices.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve data capabilities through improved association systems, workflows, and automation
    • Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in data management, business administration, information technology, or related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in data management, business intelligence, CRM/association management systems, or database administration, preferably in a nonprofit or association environment.
    • Experience managing enterprise CRM or Association Management Systems, including integrations with learning management systems, event platforms, and marketing automation tools.
    • Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements for software vendors or development teams.
    • Serve as the steward of the association’s data management program, establishing governance, prioritizing enhancements, and partnering with leadership to support strategic initiatives.
    • Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., association management software, CRM platforms) and data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Metabase). Preference for experience with YourMembership, Freestone LMS, or other Association Management Systems.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities, leading cross-functional initiatives, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
