    The College Fund is looking for a talented coordinator who will support the Major Gifts team and broadly the Resource Development department. Professional communication skills, the ability and desire to take initiative, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and CRM software applications (including producing queries and reports), and an outward mindset for supporting others are essential to supporting this department.

    You will be joining a team of eleven. This position will have the opportunity to work with individuals across the organization, along with other business partners and donors of the College Fund.

    This role reports to the Senior Director of Major Gifts. This is an in-office position located at our Denver, CO office.

    Your Day to Day

    • Serve as the primary administrative assistant for the Senior Director of Major Gifts.
    • Edit scholarship program reports, student profiles, and other cultivation and stewardship profiles, and scholarship reporting for the Grant Writer-Researcher (GWR) team.
    • Assist GWRs with reviewing applications, reports, and other work product, helping to ensure consistency and quality in the work of the GWR team
    • Provide general administrative support specifically for Major Gifts and Resource Development department generally, including, but not limited to, tracking and processing gift acknowledgement letters, processing travel reimbursements, reconciling credit card statements, assistance with special mailings, record keeping and meeting and calendar management.
    • Crosstrain across Major Gifts and Resource Development strategies to facilitate collaboration and completion of special projects, including, but not limited to, general donors services (answering calls, updating donor records, etc.), event logistics support, generating current and prospective donor profiles
    • Assist with other organizational projects as assigned, including supporting front desk coverage.

    What You Bring:

    • 1-3 years of relevant experience with the above qualifications
    • Experience working Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software applications
    • Detail orientation
    • Strong grammar and editing skills
    • Familiarity with philanthropic sector and understanding of fundraising concepts and trends knowledge; specific knowledge of major gifts best practices preferred
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Excellent listening and problem resolution skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proficient knowledge of CRM software/applications
    • Ability to work well within a diverse team and across departments
    • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
    • Ability to multi-task, organize and meet deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via all channels
    • Personal characteristics sought include initiative, discretion, mature judgment, positive behavior, performance, and ability to balance dynamic workload.
    • Knowledge of and/or interest in learning about American Indian/Alaska Native education preferred
    • Thrives in a growth environment

    It’s a bonus if you also have:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience with fundraising, including building donor relationships
    • Personal and/or professional lived experience in Native Indigenous communities
