The Innocence Project of Florida, Inc. (IPF) is seeking an experienced administrative professional who embodies IPF’s values and has a passion for social justice. The Development and Operations Specialist position will be a full-time position and will report to the Director of Development. The Innocence Project of Florida is a 501(c)(3) non-profit legal defense organization dedicated to representing individuals in Florida’s prisons who can prove their innocence through the use of DNA testing and other newly discovered evidence. IPF is the premier criminal justice organization in Florida and has helped secure the release of 35 individuals who collectively spent over 795 years in prison for crimes they didn't commit.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Development and Operations Specialist will be a part of IPF’s non-legal team. The Development and Operations Specialist will support IPF’s Director of Development to develop the necessary non-grant resources to support its mission-driven programmatic activities, and will also support IPF’s Director of Operations and Public Engagement Manager with various responsibilities. Specifically, the Development and Operations Specialist will be required to:
SUPPORT FUNDRAISING EVENTS
MANAGE IPF’S DONOR DATABASE AND DONOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
SUPPORT IPF’S FINANCE, OPERATIONS, AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Evening and weekend work are occasionally required and attendance at IPF events is expected.

Most of all, the ideal candidate absolutely must have a strong commitment to assisting underserved populations, fighting against racism and racial injustice and furthering IPF's core mission of finding and freeing innocent people in Florida's prisons.
COMPENSATION:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000
